German star Gotze has joined Eindhoven. Former German coach Vogts believes Gotze has finally got rid of the German culture of jealousy. If this World Cup lore hero recovers his status, he is still expected to return to the German team.
Speaking of Gotze’s departure from Germany and his transfer to Eindhoven, Vogts said: “He finally got rid of the German jealous culture and the ridicule in the Bundesliga, because this culture does not exist in the Netherlands.”
"The age of the player is not particularly important. When Mario (Goetze) finally plays in the way he is good at, he will once again be Loew's choice. Recovering his form in the Netherlands, Mario can even push towards Lew Husband recommends himself."
Vogts, who is about to turn 74, coached the German team from 1990 to 1998, and led the team to win the European Cup in 1996.
